Guys, if a girl said this to you would you embaressed or flattered?

So I work at the same camp as the guy I like and on friday he had to go home early because he tripped over a ball and sprained his ankle. My friend told me this happened when I asked her where he was. So my question is, if I bring it up and start teasing him about it, like I say, "OMG, are you serious?" for spraining his ankle by tripping over a ball (haha) and I act very amused and I tell him that I think that was adorable, cute whatnot (i can't imagine anyone else who would do such a thing), would this make him feel wimpy or would he consider it flirting and flattery? (He has a very unique personality, very funny, a little ADD, ect).
