Can somebody please help me?

i have a 1994 pontiac grand prix with 3.1 v6. And it has this problem where it jerks forward and revs its self up. Whenever i slow down sometimes it will rev up and then stall the same thing happens when i put it in reverse. I bought a new tps sensor and that didnt help. i plan to give it a tune up as soon as it gets warm but the funny thing is that it never started this until i got my fuelpump changed but if anybody could help me that would be great thanks
