Hunns, why don't poor people volunteer more?

Hunns, today I decided to do my part for society and donate some of my used designer shoes to a darling little thrift store. When Driver pulled up I noticed they were having a car wash as a fund raiser and of course I made my donation and let the little helpers wash my car. One of the volunteers noted that they were short of help today and that he wished more people had volunteered. Across the street I noticed the most darling group of homeless poor people who weren't doing anything except laying around and reading the labels on empty cans of vegetables. I was horrified at their lack of motivation to help out the thrift store. Why don't poor homeless people want to help society like I do hunns? I find it very, very rude and thoughtless. Who agrees?
