My boyfriend mooches off me and our child!?

we're in our early 20's and our baby is 3. I'm just so sick of this. I work hard, working a full time job, sometimes taking on an extra job to make ends meet. I had already finished college, and working on furthering my education. I had recently put my baby in a spacious 2 bedroom apartment. My boyfriend of 7 years stays at home with his parents, working a dead end job that gives him about 12 hours a week, and smokes pot all day. He won't pull himself together! not even for our son. He's very mad that I had decided to move into an apartment without him, his parents are mad too. There have been times where i left him, but he's so manipulative that I always go back to him, he cries and tells me that he doesn't want to be alone, and how he was abandoned as a kid (he's adopted), and that he's always wanted a family to call his own, and that he'd kill himself. I just can't take it, I'm a beautiful woman, and I just want to know what else is out there. I can't keep footing all bills. The money he makes, he gives his parents half, and then smokes the rest of it. I've threatened to put him on child support but him and his parents turn on me, and makes me out to be the bad guy. I feel stuck with him...and I can't seem to leave him, believe me I tried! What do I do now??
